Duqm Refinery to organise Muscat ICV exhibition on Sunday

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Duqm Refinery will organise an exhibition to showcase its in-country value (ICV) opportunities, which are aimed at Omani youth and businesses.

The two-day exhibition will be opened on Sunday at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. The event will be inaugurated under the auspices of H E Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas.

Duqm Refinery's exhibition in Muscat is a follow up to its ICV forum recently held in Duqm. The event in Duqm succeeded in attracting local youth who sought business and training opportunities in relation to the project. The Muscat ICV exhibition aims to reach out to a wider segment of Omani youth and explain the various opportunities on offer.

A special website has been launched for those who want to benefit from the opportunities offered by the programme, including business opportunities and training for development and employment programmes. Interested people can visit www.duqmrefinryicv.om to register.

Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company is a joint venture between Oman Oil Company and Kuwait Petroleum International. With an aim to be a world-class refinery business, Duqm Refinery's objective is to fuel the economic growth in the Duqm area as well as make a significant contribution to Oman's future prosperity. Once the refinery is completed, it will have the capacity to process 230,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
