(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Starcare Seeb has announced that Dr Sunil Kumar Bhatnagar has joined as a senior paediatric consultant.
Dr Bhatnagar brings with him more than 35 years of experience in Paediatrics and Paediatric Pulmonology. His role and responsibility will be to oversee care to children of all ages, including newborn care, child visits and immunisations. His qualifications include MD (Paed), MRCP (UK) and MRCPH (UK). The areas of his expertise range from management of chest diseases and asthma in children and adolescents, Spirometry and Lung function tests, Longitudinal childcare planning and the management of acute respiratory conditions in children.
Dr Bhatnagar is not new to Oman. He has been conferred with a string of awards for his valuable contribution to the field of Paediatrics. Some of the awards he has received include Certificate of Appreciation from the Executive President of Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB), for the contribution made to Post-Graduate Medical Education and Training from January 2010 to June 2018, in Oman; Certificate of Appreciation from The Dean, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, SQU, in recognition and appreciation of his significant contribution to medical education, training and assessment of the MD undergraduates; Certificate of Appreciation by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPH) London, UK, for services rendered in support of the MRCPCH examination in the sultanate and Certificate of Commendation in recognition of his contribution to the Nursing In Service Education and Staff Development Programmes at The Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman.
