(MENAFN- KNN India) Giriraj Singh visits B'luru based Pushpak Products; hails entrepreneur for manufacturing products by substituting wood
Bengaluru, May 21 (KNN) Minister of State (Independent Charge), Giriraj Singh, who visited Bidadi based MSME unit Pushpak Products India Pvt Ltd, hailed the industrialist for taking green route to meet the needs of furniture for consumers by substituting wood based products.
Giriraj Singh visited the manufacturing plant of Pushpak Products at Bidadi, a town based on Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway on May 19.
Talking to KNN, CS Prakash, Managing Director, Pushpak Products India Pvt Ltd, said, 'Sri Giriraj Singh visited our Bidadi plant and saw our manufacturing process keenly. He appreciated our team for the effort to produce quality products and also our initiative towards developing products using Coir, paddy huskies and substituting wood based products.
Prakash said his industry works on the mission 'Save Earth-Green India.
'We would soon be developing all the furniture made out of green products like Coir, Paddy, Bamboo by products etc, Pushpak said adding that the industry will be using this technology which has been developed by Coir Board of India and Coir Federation of Karnataka.
During the Minister's visit, Senior Officials from Coir board, NSIC, MSME Department, Coir Federation, Department of Police, Coir Corporation along with many industrialists were present.
'We have demonstrated Green Coir Container Office and coir furniture products.
Now we are working on low cost coir wood modular houses , site offices , toilets , etc , which are 100% water proof, termite proof, fire and thermal resistant, Eco friendly products, said the entrepreneur.
