Pakistan- Differences between table tennis association may cost players' career


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Future of several table tennis players is at stake as differences between Table Tennis Federation and Table Tennis Association deepened.

Table tennis players including Kainat Malik, Haseeb, Shayan, Basit Ali and Arbaz said that they were in Karachi to appear in trials to participate in an international event. They said that Karachi Table Tennis Association refused to take trials from players.

In a video message, Kainat said that Karachi Tennis Association was not conducting their trials as they participated in a tournament under Pakistan Table Tennis Association and both associations were at loggerheads.

The players updated their status on Facebook and expressed their desire to play for their country therefore they should not fall prey to differences between both association.
