No Cases of H5N8 Avian Flu Recorded in Saudi Arabia in Previous 24 Hours, announces Environment Ministry

Riyadh, Rajab 5, 1439, Mar 22, 2018, SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture announced that no cases of H5N8 avian flu have been recorded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the previous 24 hours.
In its daily briefing, the ministry affirmed that the number of samples collected since the beginning of the spread of the disease reached 11,713 in the Kingdom's regions. The results disclosed that 163 of these samples tested positive. As many as 7,996 birds were culled in the previous 24 hours.
The statement said that the ministry received eight notifications during the last 24 hours.
