Archbishop Oscar Romero to be announced saint


(MENAFN) Pope Francis declared that Archbishop Oscar Romero, whom was murdered amid El Salvador celebration crowd in 1980 will be announced a saint.

The Vatican confirmed that Pope Paul VI, who supervised many Catholic Church reparations accomplished in the1960s,will also be announced saint.

Pope Francis has reportedly signed an authorized order of their canonization.

Oscar Romero is admired by the local residents of El Salvador for criticizing suppression.
