Saudi- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives 57th Annual Report of General Auditing Bureau

Riyadh, Rabi'I 03, 1439, November 21, 2017, SPA --The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received the 57th annual report of General Auditing Bureau for the year 1437/1438H including the most important achievements and results of financial auditing and performance control carried out by the Bureau.
This came during the King's reception of President of General Auditing Bureau Dr. Hossam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari and the accompanying delegation at Al-Yamamah palace here today.
The King has expressed his thanks to all employees of the General Auditing Bureau for their efforts, wishing them all success in their missions to serve their religion and homeland.
The President of the General Auditing Bureau delivered a speech in which he stressed that based on the Kingdom's vision (2030) and the National Transformation Program (2020) on the importance to raise the efficiency of expenditures in government departments and achieve efficiency in the use of resources and reduce wastage, the strategic plan for the updated debts during (1438H) focused on expanding the scope of financial auditing plans and programs, monitoring the performance, and working to enable the departments supervised by General Auditing Bureau to raise their efficiency in developing and collecting public revenues so that audit reports provided by the Bureau have added value to those departments.
The President of the Bureau Dr. Al-Anqari said that during the Bureau's participation in international organizations, it has a pioneering role in United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Reviewing Program, which reflects the importance of the leading role of the Kingdom represented by General Auditing Bureau within high institutions for international financial auditing and accounting in this important field.
