Russia aims home-grown LNG production tech

(MENAFN) Russia aims to organize production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) using Russian techs by 2020, 2022, as proclaimed the nation's deputy energy minister.

Accordingly, the country will make it by 2020-2022, which would allow it to organize LNG production using Russian techs regardless of the external situation.

By 2020, Russia will cut the share of global cryogenic facilities from 50 percent to 40 percent, LNG plants from 67 percent to 55 percent.

Meanwhile, all European engineering firms are interested in co-op with Russian firms, and they are predicting there will be some obvious progress on localization.
