Portugal has 94,000 vehicles damaged by Volkswagen's cheating

(MENAFN) Portugal hasn't been excluded from the Volkswagen scandal, with nearly 94,000 cars being affected, as reports showed.

Volkswagen, the German top carmaker, assured that technical solutions are being utilized and will be presented in October.

Europe's largest automaker revealed that it would repair up to 11 million vehicles with false equipment after it was caught cheating emissions examinations.

The firm has already confessed to the fact that it has faked tests in Europe as well as in the United States, which has obviously cost it quite a lot.
