(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The Saudi Foreign minister, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Thursday said that a political solution based on Security Council resolution 2216 is the only way to end the crisis in Yemen The minister told Al-arabiya T.V channel that his country is committed to helping rebuild Yemen to elevate the suffering of its people.
Resolution 2216 was passed under Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter and imposed sanctions against the leader of the Houthi movement along with deposed leader Ali Abdullah Saleh.
