Secret Twitter: Comey's reappearance

(MENAFN) James Comey, former FBI Director, has reappeared to the public on Monday, posting a photo of Iowa using a secret Twitter account. He wrote on the post the following "goodbye Iowa. On the road home, gotta get back to writing. Will try to tweet in useful ways."

Since Comey was fired by President Trump in May due to an investigation into Trump Campaign's possible ties to Russia, he completely vanished into thin air.

Following months of suspicion that the Twitter @formerbu belonged to Comey, Iowa's post has emerged. It was confirmed by the editor in chief of Lawfare, Benjamin Wittes, who is Comey's friend that the account on Twitter actually belongs to the former FBI Director.

On the secret account, Tweets go on about scenery photos from around Iowa, Gettysburg and West Point. "Little Round Top, Gettysburg. Good place to think about leadership and values" one tweet once was said.
