Uzbekistan’s First School for Entrepreneurs

(MENAFN- Montfort Communications) Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 12 March 2025:

Startup Garage, Central Asia’s first venture studio, has launched Founders School, an 8-week intensive program designed to equip Uzbek entrepreneurs with the skills, mentorship, and funding needed to build and scale successful startups.

Beginning on 07 April, the program is open to both new and experienced entrepreneurs looking to validate their ideas, develop a minimum viable product (MVP), enter the market, and secure early-stage investment. The most promising startups from the program will be invited to join Startup Garage’s residency program and will be eligible for an initial investment starting at $10,000.

Participants will benefit from:
• Offline lessons twice a week in Startup Garage Tashkent and regional centers
• Monthly team practice seminars
• Demo Day, where founders pitch their startups to investors
• Exclusive video lessons and startup materials

Mukhammad Khalil, the founder of Startup Garage, said: “Founders School is where experienced founders mentor the next generation, focusing on execution, adhering to global standards, and leveraging local expertise. Our goal is to teach over 1,000 people this year, empowering the most promising startups to grow and secure international investment.”

As of early March, more than 200 young people have already signed up for the program. The participants will receive real startup knowledge, hands-on mentorship, and direct, professional relationships with potential investors and partners such as Aloqa Ventures, which actively invests in local startups and supports the Uzbek startup ecosystem.

The program launch comes as Uzbekistan’s tech sector has been experiencing substantial growth, driven by government-backed digitalization initiatives, an expanding talent pool, and increasing investor interest.

Startup Garage has rapidly established itself as a key player in this ecosystem. In just nine months, the venture studio has built a presence in 14 regions across Uzbekistan, working directly with over 100 startups to provide funding, mentorship, and market access. The company is also expanding its reach beyond the region, recently opening its first MENA office in Doha, Qatar to attract global investors and create more opportunities for Uzbek founders.
