Kuwait Amb. To Jordan: First Deputy PM's Visit To Strengthen Historical Ties


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al-Marri said on Monday that the visit of First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah to Jordan comes withing the framework of historical relations, particularly in the military and security fields.
This came in a statement to KUNA made by Al-Marri, following the arrival of Sheikh Fahad and the accompanying delegation at Queen Alia International Airport, noting that the visit will last for two days.
Al-Marri added that Sheikh Fahad will hold meetings with Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Bisher Khasawneh, and Minister of Interior Mazin Al-Farrayeh, as well as military and security officials to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Sheikh Fahad's visit to Jordan comes as part of a regional tour that previously included Egypt and will later include Oman, noting that the visit aims to strengthen joint Arab cooperation.
Upon his arrival, Sheikh Fahad was received by the Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazin Al-Farrayeh, and several senior military and security officials in Jordan. (end)
