Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in its regular morning update, reported that 49 Ukrainian drones had been shot down over seven Russian regions during the night.

However, the ministry's figures do not match the local authorities' reports.

According to the ministry's statement, 25 drones were shot down over Rostov region, eight over Volgograd region, six over Kursk region, four over Yaroslavl region, and two over Belgorod and Voronezh regions, as well as Krasnodar Krai.

The operational headquarters of Kursk region, almost simultaneously with the release of the ministry's report, claimed that 17 drones had been shot down over their region (not six, as stated by the ministry).

The governor of Yaroslavl region also reported almost simultaneously that five drones had been shot down near Yaroslavl, not four, as stated in the ministry's report.
