Iraq, Egypt Pms Mull Over Bilateral Issues

BAGHDAD, Jan 30 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani and his visiting Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouly on Thursday discussed several bilateral, regional and international issues.
Al-Sudani welcomed the Egyptian prime minister to the government Palace in Baghdad, where an official reception was held and the anthems of Iraq and Egypt were played, the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office said in a press release.
During the meeting, both sides looked into ways of promoting bilateral cooperation and partnership and coordinating stances on regional and international challenges and issues of mutual concern, it added.
They then chaired both countries' delegations at the meetings of their joint committee's third session, where joint issues were considered and memos of understanding covering several domains and sectors were signed. (end)
