Eni Rovuma Basin Backs Economic Recovery In Mozambique

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. Eni Rovuma Basin,
in collaboration with local partners, is advancing socio-economic
development in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, Trend reports.
The company, working with Universidade Lúrio and NGOs ADPP and
AVSI, has delivered five new water wells in the districts of Mecufi
and Metuge. This initiative, part of the Coral South Plan of
Development, helps restore drinking water access for around 2,300
people following damage caused by Cyclone Chido.
Additionally, Eni Rovuma Basin's Social Cohesion Project has
trained 75 young women in Metuge in entrepreneurship, with 66
receiving funding and start-up kits for small businesses. These
efforts align with the company's commitment to fostering social
stability and sustainable development in the region.
