Police reports 2 teen migrants stabbed in Manhattan after being asked if they spoke English


(MENAFN) Authorities announced two refugee teens were killed in a New York City stabbing, one deadly, after the teens were asked if they spoke English and they answered that they didn't.

Authorities added, three men come near the teens around 7:40 PM Thursday night, when one of theme asked if the teens spoke English. When the teens answered they did not, they were stabbed, the Police read.

Police declared that they were replying to a 911 call for an attack that took a place in Lower Manhattan when they found a 17-year-old male with a stab injury to the chest and an 18-year-old male with a stab injury to the left arm.

Emergency medical services came and took both teens to the NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue location, as officials declared.

The 17-year-old male, now recognized by authorities as Yeremi Colino, passed away from his wounds and the 18-year-old male is in stable condition, the NYPD reads.
