China To Support Accession Of More Countries To BRICS - Xi Jinping

KAZAN, Russia, October 24. China will support
the accession of more countries to the BRICS, the President of the
People's Republic of China Xi Jinping said at the first plenary
session of the 16th BRICS summit in the BRICS Plus format in Kazan,
Trend reports.
"No matter how the international situation changes, the Chinese
country will always take care of the countries of the Global South,
stand by them, and support the accession of more and more countries
of the Global South to the stability of the BRICS as state members,
partner countries, or in the BRICS+ format. We will form a powerful
force of the Global South in the name of the community of the
common destiny of mankind," he said.
The President of the People's Republic of China also stated his
readiness, as a coordinator, to create an alliance of cooperation
between analytical centers of the Global South to promote
humanitarian dialogue and exchange experience in the field of
public administration.
"Following the results of the third plenum of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of China of the 20th convocation,
a comprehensive plan has been developed to further comprehensively
deepen the reform and promote Chinese modernization, which will
certainly bring greater opportunities to the whole world. Last
month, on the sidelines of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum
summit, 10 off-road actions between China and Africa were announced
to jointly promote modernization, and this will serve as a new
impetus to achieve the modernization of the Global South," Xi
Jinping added.
