Introduction Of ICT In Healthcare Enables Cross-Border Data Exchange Within OTS - Minister

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The rapid
introduction of information and communication technologies in
healthcare makes it possible to exchange information on patients
across borders by developing unified electronic standards of
healthcare within the framework of the Organization of Turkic
States, Azerbaijani health Minister Teymur Musayev said during his
speech at the IV meeting of health ministers of member and observer
countries of the Organization of Turkic States in Shusha, Trend reports.
“There are many opportunities that we should jointly implement
in this direction as well,” the minister said.
To note, the IV meeting of health ministers of member and
observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States was held in
the city of Shusha under the joint organization of the Organization
of Turkic States and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of
Azerbaijan.
