Iranian President To Visit Qatar For ACD Forum


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan. October 1. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Qatar's Doha on October 2 to participate in the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Forum, Trend reports via Iranian media.

The Iranian president will be bringing along a top-notch political and economic team during his two-day visit.

The Iranian president is expected to meet with other world leaders during his tour, including the Emir of Qatar, sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and other heads of state.

The Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an intergovernmental entity established in 2002 to foster continental cooperation in Asia and to facilitate coordination among various regional organizations, including ASEAN, the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and SAARC. It is the inaugural multinational organization to encompass the entirety of Asia. The secretariat is located in Kuwait City.
