Open Air Flight Club Will Draw Raffle Winner For Rare 1979 Mustang Pace Car On September 2 - Tickets Available Through September 1

(MENAFN- ACCESSWIRE) Iowa man believes raffling off a rare car can save Aviation

PELLA, IA/ ACCESSWIRE / August 30, 2024 / Jeff Jorgenson, a Flight Instructor, founder of the organizations Open Air Flight Club and Open Air Education, and author of the award-winning book "Open Air Flight Club" has donated his rare 1979 302 Automatic Mustang Pace Car Edition to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Open Air Education. Jeff says, "Aviation is a significant element of American culture and history. It affects nearly everyone's lives, either directly or indirectly, yet few know much about it." Jeff is helping to raise the money to promote aviation to public schools as an ideal STEM learning platform. "The more people that learn about aviation, the more of these problems we can solve. But it doesn't make sense to raffle off a plane because most people don't need a plane, but just about everyone needs a car."

The raffle will be held on September 2nd, 2024. Anyone anywhere in the USA can purchase raffle tickets at: ( ), and the car is being raffled "as in, where is", so the lucky winner will be responsible for pick up and delivery. The car is in very good, all-original condition, and has about 66,000 original miles. As the car occasionally drives to car shows throughout the Midwest, the miles will change.

Jeff says, "It's a mistake that aviation isn't taught in most public schools. In the USA, students can solo a glider at age 14 and can solo a powered aircraft at age 16. You can actually get your pilot license at age 17, so we're raising money to raise awareness for aviation. We're helping to solve the shortages of personnel to fill roles in aviation trades. Not only for pilots, but aircraft mechanics, air traffic controllers, and even flight attendants make really good salaries with amazing perks and benefits." The money raised will go towards a flight simulator for schools and aviation programming for students. Jeff is an amazing man, who pairs his vast experience with a passion for helping students achieve their best potential. He wants to help educate and inspire the next generation of aviators.

Pilots do a lot more than just provide transportation, they also fly critical supplies to remote areas after storms and even fly into hurricanes to provide real-time information to meteorologists.

For a chance to win a rare car that is increasing in value as it approaches its 50th anniversary in 2029, and an opportunity to make a real difference in aviation, you can go to the link above or visit their website: OpenAirFlightClub
