Kyrgyz President Plans State Visit To Uzbekistan


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 17. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov will make a state visit to Uzbekistan, Trend reports.

According to the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, the visit will take place at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During his trip, Japarov will hold bilateral talks with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The parties will discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, as well as prospects for the Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations development.

Moreover, as part of the visit, Japarov will take part in the official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan. There will also be an online launch ceremony of ongoing bilateral projects with the participation of the two presidents.

Moreover, a number of other events are scheduled within the visit, such as the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Business Forum and the Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
