Four Apartments Severely Damaged In Kyiv High-Rise After Rocket Attack


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In a residential building in Kyiv's Obolon district, damaged by rocket debris, four apartments were severely damaged and about 30 were slightly damaged.

The head of the Obolon District State Administration, Kyrylo Fesyk, said this on the air of the nationwide marathon "United News," an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Four apartments were badly damaged and about 30 apartments were not badly damaged. As of today, the house has been fully restored to water and electricity supply... All the consequences outside the building have been removed, and the building is being inspected. An expert assessment will be carried out to determine the extent of the repairs that need to be done. And today all the residents of this house have been invited for further interaction with the local authorities," noted Fesyk.

According to him, the building's load-bearing structures were not damaged.

The head of the District State Administration added that applications are now being accepted from residents of the damaged apartments through the city's Care program, who will be able to receive 10,000 UAH as a one-time payment. "Charitable foundations are also being involved for ongoing support. And we communicate with everyone individually," Fesenko said.

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 30, the fragments of a Russian missile fell on a residential building in Kyiv .
