Russia's Ugra Media Holding Partners With TV BRICS To Expand Reach In BRICS+ Countries

(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) Russia's Ugra media Holding, the largest media conglomerate in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Ural federal District, has partnered with TV BRICS, an international media Network focused on the BRICS+ countries. The agreement, signed at the XV International IT Forum in Khanty-Mansi, aims to increase Ugra's recognition within the BRICS+ bloc and share information about its activities with the Russian region's population.
“The cooperation of 'Ugra' TV and radio Company with TV BRICS International Media Network is an opportunity to introduce the achievements of one of the advanced Russian regions – Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, its tourism and investment potential – to the huge audience of BRICS countries,” said Tatyana Goreva, Deputy Director of District broadcaster 'Ugra'.
Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, highlighted the network's focus on fostering cooperation between municipalities and regions within the BRICS+ countries.“TV BRICS pays special attention to the development of cooperation between municipalities and regions of the BRICS+ countries,” Tolstikova stated. The partnership with Ugra is part of a broader strategy that includes collaborations with other leading regional broadcasters in Russia.
Ugra Media Holding boasts a potential audience of 1.5 million people and encompasses 11 media outlets across television, radio, online, and print. Its 24-hour“Ugra” TV channel broadcasts throughout Russia and neighbouring countries, with a focus on information-analytical, social, and educational programming.
The media holding has been recognized as the best television company of the year three times by the National Association of Television and Radio Broadcasters of Russia.
TV BRICS, with over 70 media partners worldwide, also announced the addition of Vietnam's largest state-owned media outlet to its network at the IT forum. In February 2024, TV BRICS signed a cooperation agreement with the government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and served as an international information partner for the IT Forum.
The network also organised the BRICS GLOBAL MEDIA TOUR, culminating in a special session on“New Technologies in the Media Industry” attended by media executives from BRICS+ countries, including Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, and Vietnam.
