(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 23. Kazakhstan is readyto supply Singapore with critical raw materials and naturalresources, said President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, ashe addressed the closing ceremony of the Kazakh-Singapore BusinessForum, Trend reports.

"With global demand for rare metals expected to quadruple by2040, Kazakhstan, boasting around 5,000 unexplored deposits, couldbe a dependable partner for jointly tapping into this potential. Wehave high hopes for long-term collaboration with Indorama, acompany keen on exploring copper and phosphate deposits inKazakhstan," he said.

Highlighting the increasing interest in Kazakhstan's extensiverenewable energy potential, Tokayev encouraged Singaporeancompanies to broaden partnerships in clean energy production,technology transfer, and expertise sharing.

"Singapore is renowned for its cutting-edge waste-to-energyfacilities and innovative waste management technologies. We arekeenly interested in such innovative waste management approachesand aim to foster cooperation in this field," the presidentadded.
