(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Dubai authoritieswill allocate 128 billion dirhams ($34.8 billion) to build a newpassenger terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport in thesouthern part of the city, said the Emir of Dubai, Prime Ministerof the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Trend reports.
"Today we approved the design of a new passenger terminal at AlMaktoum International Airport. We ordered the construction of apassenger terminal as part of the strategy developed by the DubaiAviation Corporation," the Prime Minister said.
He noted that Al Maktoum Airport will be five times larger thanthe current Dubai International Airport.
