(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. The anniversary ofthe establishment of the Lachin border checkpoint on the stateborder of Azerbaijan is being marked, Trend reports via the country'sState Border Service.
On April 23, last year, units of the State Border Serviceestablished the Lachin checkpoint across the state border on thesovereign territories of Azerbaijan at the beginning of theLachin-Khankendi road.
At the newly created checkpoint, a ceremony was held to raisethe Azerbaijani flag, which was reported to the President of theRepublic of Azerbaijan, the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chiefof the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev.
