Russian Bryansk's Business Mission To Hammer Out With Azerbaijani Enterprises


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. A business delegation from Russia's Bryansk will hold negotiations with representatives of Azerbaijani enterprises, Trend reports.

In the representative office of the Ministry of industry and Trade of Russia in Azerbaijan, a meeting has been held with a business delegation from the Bryansk region that arrived in Azerbaijan.

The business delegation included representatives from three companies actively developing export channels, including a furniture factory, a manufacturer of sports and children's playgrounds, and a manufacturer of lifting and transportation equipment for people with limited abilities.

The trade representative of Russia in Azerbaijan, Ruslan Mirsayapov, briefed on the most promising areas of bilateral cooperation and the specifics of participation in government purchases.

Meanwhile, Nikolay Bondov from the Russian Export Center said that with an ST-1 certificate, Russian products imported into the territory of Azerbaijan are not subject to import customs duties.

The business mission also envisions negotiations and B2B (business-to-business) meetings, along with visits to relevant Azerbaijani enterprises.

The data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan showed that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia from January through September 2023 amounted to $3.1 billion, marking a 23.45 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022, when the turnover was $2.5 billion.
