Enemy Attacks Myrhorod With Missiles Overnight


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian forces launched a missile strike on Myrhorod, Poltava region, last night.

Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, said this on Ukrainian television, according to Ukrinform.

"At night, the enemy attacked Myrhorod, particularly the territory of the airfield. Equipment and infrastructure were damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties. The fire was contained. Eight nearby houses and four cars were damaged," Lunin said.

According to him, all 2,500 shelters were inspected in the region, with 80% of them fully meeting both sanitary and technical conditions. As for the rest, daily work continues to bring them to a proper condition.

Ukrinform reported earlier that the Russians had attacked the Poltava region overnight with Iskander ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as Iranian-made attack drones.
