Turkish Coast Guard Rescues 30 Illegal Immigrants Off Mugla Province Coast


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Turkish Coast Guard teams rescued 30 illegal immigrants off the coast of the state of Mugla, southwestern Turkiye.
According to a statement by Turkish Coast Guard Command, its crews received a notification that there was a group of immigrants on board a rubber boat off the coast of Bodrum district in Mugla and 30 immigrants who were on board the boat were transported near the Turkish territorial waters.
The Turkish-Bulgarian and Turkish-Greek borders are witnessing an increase in the number of illegal immigrants who take land and sea routes, hoping to reach a European country. Related Story
