Malaysia Condemns Israel's Desecration Of Al-Aqsa Mosque

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUALA LAMPUR, May 24 (KUNA) -- Malaysian authorities renewed on Wednesday the demand for the international community to hold Israel responsible for its ongoing acts of aggression and provocation in Palestine.
In a statement, the Malaysian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the latest incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyard on May 21 by Israel's National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, saying the act was a clear provocation and aggression against the Political status quo of Jerusalem and the holy grounds.
"The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) must live up to its Charter-mandated responsibility and immediately demand the regime to halt acts of provocation in the interest of peace and stability in the region," it added. (end)
