Birla Public School Celebrates Mother's Day

Doha, Qatar: Mother's Day, the day that recognises the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment by the excited kindergarteners of Birla Public School recently.

The mothers were invited to the respective classes of their ward and presented a beautiful card of gratitude. The mothers kindled the artist in them by participating in the Interclass Rangoli Competition. 'Grab a Treat' was the highlight of the day where the students sat with their mothers and ate snacks.

The mothers were then requested to assemble in the auditorium for the celebrations. Josephine Fernandes, Headmistress welcomed the overwhelming gathering of mothers to the event. The students put on a melodious performance followed by a dance performance dedicated to their mothers.

The foot tapping performances by the mothers stole the show. Parents were given an opportunity to share their experiences on the beautiful occasion and thanked the school for their efforts and lovely gesture. The results of the Rangoli competition were announced along with the distribution of prizes for the same.

Academic Director - Principal, Harish Sanduja addressed the gathering on the importance of mothers in the life of a child. Edna Fernandez, Vice Principal dedicated a song on Motherhood on behalf of the BPS Staff to mark the occasion. 'Souvenirs of Love' by the Kindergarten Family, were also distributed. The day ended with all mothers and children, enjoying themselves and taking back fond memories of a day well spent.
