Saudi Arabia, France Calls For Military De-Escalation Between Parties In Sudan


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, April 19 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna asserted Wednesday on the importance of stopping military escalation between involved parties in Sudan.
During a phone call, the two ministers called for ending the violence, and providing the necessary protection for Sudanese civilians and residents on its soil in a way that guarantees the security, stability, and well-being of Sudan and its people.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said the remarks by the two ministers came during a phone call where the two sides discussed the events in Sudan.
During the phone call, the two also highlighted the strong relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to discussing aspects of intensifying joint coordination towards many issues of common concern. (end)
