Six Palestinian Casualties In Israeli Raid On Al-Aqsa Mosque
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, April 5 (KUNA) - Six Palestinian casualties resulted from the Israeli assault on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday while Ramadan prayers were taking place.
A statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its staff dealt with six injuries resulting from the raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque, with two casualties transported to hospital while first responders aided the remaining cases.
Also mentioning eyewitnesses saw the intrusion as people were commencing their prayers, as they were forced out of the mosque with the use of rubber bullets, gas and flashbang bombs.
A total of 400 worshipers were also apprehended during another Israeli raid on the mosque that took place during dawn prayer then later released on the condition they be removed from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.
The raid is a prelude to settlers storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the recent Passover holiday were provocative rallies took place under the protection of the police. (end)
