Qatar, US Strategic Dialogue Discusses Military Ties

Doha: The fifth Qatari-US Military Cooperation Strategic Dialogue session was held in Doha, headed by Brig. Abdulaziz Saleh Al Sulaiti, Chairman of International Military Cooperation Authority, for the Qatari side; and H E Stanley Brown,

Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, for the US side.

The two sides discussed latest updates of joint military cooperation, especially in operational correspondence, merging forces, and unifying concepts and points of view to address threats and challenges in the region.

In conclusion, latest updates of military doctrine and joint exercises between the two sides were discussed; in addition to military sales, emphasizing the pivotality of the relationship and defense cooperation and their impact on stability and security in the region.
