Dubai, United Arab Emirates: The 19th edition of the Dubai International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition, which will be held from March 7 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will showcase a wide range of local, European as well as Chinese wood and woodworking machineries from leading companies in the industry to meet the needs of wood businesses in the region for world-class products, services, and technologies.

The Dubai International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition is the region's only dedicated trade platform for the wood and woodworking machinery. It offers the perfect opportunity for all participants to connect with industry experts and suppliers from the global wood and woodworking machinery sector in order to encourage the sharing of expertise, knowledge and experiences, and provide more investment opportunities and sustainable partnerships for the further growth of the wood industry.

The exhibition will also host new exhibitors who will display their latest and most innovative wood products and technologies such as panel saws, sanders, edgebanders, and other high-quality cutting tools. Major exhibitors include cefla, Holzher, IMAC, Stanley, and German Tech Machinery.

European Union's Roadmap 2050, which aims to ultimately achieve a low-carbon economy, inspired this move to increase the use of wood in construction and reduce that of other building materials such as concrete, steel, and bricks. The use of materials from renewable sources like wood leads to a decrease in carbon emissions as it is energy-efficient and involves low-energy transportation methods. As a result, the previous decade witnessed a rapid development in the construction of high structures using wood-based systems, providing short- and long-term construction jobs and meeting the high demand for wood materials and machinery.

The Dubai WoodShow is officially supported by a group of leading associations and institutions around the world, including the Quebec Wood Export Bureau (Canada), the American Hardwood Export Council (USA), the Acimall Italian Woodworking Technology Association (Italy), and AIMSAD (Turkey).

Over the course of three days, the wood fair will offer its participants the most dynamic and most rewarding activities that will generate vast business opportunities for various wood and woodworking machinery sectors in the market through a conference, B2B meetings/matchmaking, seminars, and networking sessions. The second day of the exhibition will also feature the WoodShow Innovation & Exellence Awards Ceremony, which will recognize participating exhibitors and their valuable contributions to the exhibition and to the industry as a whole.

The Dubai International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition, which is the leading destination for wood and woodworking machinery industry in the Middle East, brings together approximately 400 exhibitors from more than 60 different countries around the world. It offers a dynamic platform for suppliers, manufacturers and machinery companies to showcase their products, innovative technologies, production scenarios and large-scale machinery to industry key players in the MENA region.

Organized by Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions, the annual Dubai International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition attracts around 10,000 visitors each year. This year's 19th edition will be held from 7 to 9 March 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions is also set to organize a version of the exhibition at the Cairo International Conference Center from 7 to 10 December 2023.
