Google: Happy National Day, Kuwait

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- google on Saturday celebrated the 62nd anniversary of Kuwait's National Day by changing its doodle to depict the Gulf country's white, red, black and green flag flying proudly in the sky.
Under the headline: 'Kuwait National Day 2023', Google said: 'Today's Doodle celebrates Kuwait National Day! On this day each year, Kuwaitis reflect on their nation's independence and progress with pride.'
Popular sawt music comprising of drums, violins, and lutes fills the air as the white, red, black, and green Kuwaiti flag, depicted in today's artwork, flies proudly in the sky.
Kuwait marked its first National Day on June 19, 1952, but an Amiri decree was issued on May 18, 1964, changing the National Day to February 25 as of 1965. (end)
