(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Bulgaria has nothing to do with the explosion on the so-called 'Crimea' bridge that occurred in October last year. This was stated via twitter by the country's Prosecutor General, Ivan Geshev, Ukrinform reports.
'Colleagues from the Prosecutor's Office of Sofia categorically established that Bulgaria has nothing to do with the explosion on the Crimea Bridge. This is yet another Russian hybrid attack against the European community,' the Prosecutor General wrote.
As reported by Ukrinform, Bulgaria's counterintelligence agency (SANS) launched an investigation after Russia's statement that the truck that blew up on the Crimea Bridge allegedly came from Bulgaria. The inquiry was launched on the instruction of Prime Minister Galab Donev immediately after the Kremlin made the claim public.
