Turkiye Sees Regional Benefit In Cooperation With Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- The entire region stands to gain from an increase in cooperation between Turkiye and Saudi Arabia, Ankara's top lawmaker Mustafa Sentop said on Monday.
Holding talks with visiting Saudi Shura council chief Abdullah Al-Sheikh, the Turkish chief lawmaker underlined the security and stability of the wider Gulf Arab region as among his country's core concerns, saying Ankara backs Riyadh's bid to host the World expo 2030.
In a region that stretches from the Palestinian territories to Yemen and Libya, more cooperation between Ankara and Riyadh will prove 'beneficial' to the entire region, he reiterated. (end)
