(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 20 (KUNA) -- Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Dr. Fatema Al-Salem met on Tuesday with UNHCR Representative in Kuwait Nisreen Rubaian and Program Associate Eman Al-Einawi, and discussed bilateral cooperation in the area of media and field training.
During the reception, they discussed ways of exchanging training experiences and organizing training courses and programs between KUNA and the UNHCR in the media coverage of the UN body's activities.
Both sides stressed the significance of media in highlighting the humanitarian side of different issues, especially the issue of refugees, and exchange of visits and experience as well as training.
KUNA's Deputy Director-General for Financial and Administrative Affairs and Communications Mohammad Al-Mannai, Head of KUNA's Planning and Development Office Reham Bushehri, and KUNA's Public Relations and Marketing Department attended the reception. (end) sss.asm.ahm
