UN: Russian Missiles Killed At Least 77 Civilians In Ukraine Since Early October

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine have killed at least 77 civilians since early October.

This was stated by UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, Ukrinform reports with reference to the guardian .

According to him, Russian missile attacks have plunged millions of people in Ukraine into extreme hardship.

“Millions are being plunged into extreme hardship and appalling conditions of life by these strikes. Taken as a whole, this raises serious problems under international humanitarian law, which requires a concrete and direct military advantage for each object attacked,” Türk said.

As reported, on November 23, Russian troops launched another massive missile attack against Ukraine, targeting infrastructure facilities and residential buildings. There are dead and wounded civilians.

Enemy strikes led to a temporary blackout of all nuclear power plants, most thermal power plants, and hydroelectric power stations.
