Al-Mutairi, Al-Ibrahim Win Gold Medals At Crown Prince Shooting Championship

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 1 (KUNA) -- Shooters Ali Al-Mutairi and Shaimaa Al-Ibrahim obtained two gold medals at 10-m rifle contest during His Highness the crown prince sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Shooting Championship Tuesday.
Al-Mutairi won the first place after reaching the final round with 29 points, followed by Saud Al-Sebaie with 23 points and Abdullah Al-Harbi.
Al-Ibrahim came first in the female category with 58 points followed by Mariam Al-Razzouqi with 52 and Retaj Ahmad who won the second and third positions respectively.
Al-Mutairi told reporters that the competition is considered preparation for the Kuwaiti shooters who will partake in the Asian shooting tournament due in South Korea next week, expressing delight at winning the gold. (end)
