Ghanaian Amb. Hails Kuwait's Humanitarian Efforts


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 28 (KUNA) -- Ghana's Ambassador to Kuwait Abubakar Abdulai has commended Kuwait's humanitarian efforts to alleviate suffering of needy and distressed people around the world, especially in Africa.
Speaking to KUNA after meeting Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRSC) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, Ambassador Abdulai underlined the importance of coordination between the KRSC and the Ghana Red Cross Society in expanding cooperation and facilitating joint humanitarian projects in Ghana.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the KRSC for its efforts in aiding those affected by natural or manmade disasters.
On his part, Dr. Al-Sayer stated that KRSC has carried out many humanitarian projects in Ghana, affirming the society's keenness on providing help to all in need.
Al-Sayer praised the Ghanaian Ambassador's role in bolstering joint humanitarian efforts indicating that Kuwait would continue its humanitarian efforts as per the directives of its political leadership. (end)
