China informs UN: To resolve Ukraine war, we should discuss security worries of all groups

(MENAFN) China repeated its position Saturday to stand with a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict but urged discussing the security worries of the groups.

“China supports all efforts conducive to the peaceful resolution of the Ukraine crisis,” Wang Yi, China’s top diplomat, made a statement at the 77th meeting of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

Wang, on the other hand, claimed that the fundamental solution to the war depends on “addressing legitimate security concerns of all parties and building a balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture.”

“We call on parties concerned to keep the crisis from spilling over and protect the legitimate rights and the interests of the developing countries,” on the words of Wang, noting that China sticks to the principle of non-interference.

Russia started attacking Ukraine in February, causing the migration of millions and death and wound to thousands.

“China promotes peace through talks, which is fair and pragmatic, and aims to address both symptoms and root causes of hotspot issues,” he added.
