Four Civilians Injured In Russia's Missile Attack On Odesa Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On the night of August 17, 2022, Russian invaders fired two missiles at Odesa Region from Tu-22M3 bombers. Four civilians were injured.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the Tu-22M3 strategic bombers attacked Odesa Region with Kh-22 missiles. Two missiles caused destructions and fires in a recreation base and several private buildings located nearby. Four civilians were injured and received medical aid,” the report states.

Rescuers have already extinguished a fire of over 600 square meters in area.

As Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted on Telegram , seven buildings of the recreation base were destroyed and 15 cottages were damaged in Russia's late night attack on the village of Zatoka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District.
