PISQ Students Shine In SSC Part-I Annual Examination 2022

Doha: The students of Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) have made their mark with record breaking performance in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC-I) Annual Examination 2022 of federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad. 

Two students of PISQ were among the toppers in Doha with 500 and 498 Marks respectively. The result was announced by FBISE on August 5, 2022.
Maimoona Mohammad Luqman Khan stood first with highest score of 500 marks and Huzaifah Ahmed scored 498 marks and secured second position in all Doha-based Pakistani schools in the science group, whereas Hifsa Sajid third position in the school by securing 493 marks in the science group.

In the Humanities group of Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC-I), PISQ students Bushra Qazi stood first with 462 marks, Maryam secured second position with 435 and Khola took third position with 431 in all Doha-based Pakistani schools. 

This year 143 students of PISQ took the exam and out of them 132 students passed with 38 'A1' and 36 'A' grades and rest passed with 'B' and 'C' grades. The overall pass percentage was 92.30%.

Nargis Raza Otho, the principal, lauded the students on their mammoth achievement in SSC-I exam. She said that focused and sincere efforts never go waste and they always return magnified. Praising the PISQ teachers, she called them an invaluable source of guidance and inspiration for the students and the backbone of the school. She thanked and urged them to keep extending the best of their efforts for the students. She congratulated the parents and expressed her thanks for upholding their integrity and believing in the school.

Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar, congratulated the students and their parents on the remarkable result. He further said that the students in today's world are supposed to be dynamic and proactive. For this, they need to embrace knowledge, in their respective fields of study, sincerely and then there is no stopping to their development and growth. 

He praised the principal for being a supporting leader in the school for the dedicated team of teachers who are the true agents of change.
