Qatar Museums Calling Artists To Propose Permanent Public Artwork

Doha: Qatar Museums is calling on artists to propose a permanent public artwork that speaks to the local communities through its 5/6 initiative programme.

Among the criteria are: artists will only be considered if their proposal meets the checklist at a minimum, artists can be at any stage of their career but must possess strong skills to execute the proposed project.

Also, the opportunity is for artists residing in Qatar (applicants must hold a valid Qatar residence permit), and successful applicants will receive a commission contract to execute the proposed public artwork.

Deadline of application is on August 5. Interested artists can apply through QM's website qm.org.qa
