Kuwait Already With Eight Medals As West Asian Games Spools 2Nd Day


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti participants manage to advance with a gold, silver, and two bronze medals on Monday, as the 2nd day of West Asian Athletic Association (WAAA) U-20 Games comes to an end.
Heading the delegation accompanying the team, Abdulaziz Minwa reported to KUNA that Bader Swade took first place in the 800m race, while Abdulaziz Al-Dhafiri managed a bronze in the same event.
He also added, Hadi Al-Azmi obtain silver in the decathlon category event as Hussein Al-Tamimi wins bronze in the discus throw.
The team had already listed 4 medals on the first day of the games with a gold and silver in the long jump and gold and bronze in the shot-put. Putting the tally at 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals as athletes prepare themselves for the thirds day of events. (end)
