Grand Holy Mosque Provided With 80,000 Copies Of Holy Quran In Conjunction With Pilgrims' Arrival


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Makkah, June 22, 2022, SPA -- The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque, represented by the General Directorate for the Holy Quran, has provided shelves and cabinets with new copies of the Holy Quran, amounting to 80,000 copies from the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, while a total of 2,300 cabinets of various sizes have been added and distributed inside the Grand Holy Mosque.
Director General of the General Directorate for the Holy Quran and Books Ghazi Al-Thibiani said that the directorate also provided shelves and cabinets with Braille copies of the Holy Quran for the blind, and copies of the interpretation of the meanings of the Holy Quran in various languages, most important of which are in English, Urdu and Indonesian, in addition to having the big size of the Holy Quran across the mosque, noting that distributing the Holy Quran is ongoing.
Al-Thibiani added that the directorate has prepared a special program to celebrate pilgrims, where it will gift a copy of the Holy Quran for every pilgrim, in addition to a program for the meanings of the Holy Quran with translations in more than 60 languages, through a QR that is downloaded on smart phones.
