Turkiye seeks to see real measures on its security

(MENAFN) Turkish Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Ankara seeks to see real measures instead of diplomatic declarations regarding its safety.

During an occasion in the northwestern Kocaeli area, Erdogan declared Turkiye's security worries must not be discussed by diplomatic declarations within Finland and Sweden’s NATO application.

He as well underlined that Ankara considers the NATO's expansion rule without listing basic security worries is bad for both Turkiye and NATO.

Sweden and Finland officially tried to become part of NATO on May 18, a step drove by Russia’s current conflict on Ukraine, which started 3 months ago.
